Corrales Art Studio Tour

August 27 & 28

The 24th annual Corrales Art Studio Tour showcases 80 artists, four galleries, and more than 50 elementary-school artists at 35 artist studios, Corrales bed-and-breakfasts, and local businesses. Visitors will find art in a variety of styles and mediums including watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, jewelry, clay, fiber, glass, and metal. View a sample of each artist at the Preview Gallery in the Old San Ysidro Church (966 Old Church Road) on Friday, August 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. and during tour hours on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Chama Valley Arts Festival and Studio Tour

September 3 & 4

Representing many northern New Mexico communities, the 15th annual Chama Valley Art Festival and Studio Tour celebrates art and artists. Enjoy live music, food, a raffle, and plenty of diverse artistry, including jewelry, photography, glass art, pottery, metal work, graphic art, fabric art, quilts, and hand-dyed and woven traditional northern New Mexican rugs. Spend a revitalizing weekend in Chama with lodging and restaurants within walking distance. Look for brightly numbered signs in front of locations along the tour to visit all the artists at the festival and in their studios.

Sandia Heights Artists Studio Tour

September 17 & 18

The Sandia Heights Artists Studio Tour celebrates its 19th year with more artists and more stops than ever before. In the foothills of Sandía Mountain, each tour stop features multiple artists displaying their work, as well as stunning, expansive views of Albuquerque. The Sandia Heights Artists Association welcomes many new artists each year who embrace their media with enthusiasm. The result is a fascinating artistic diversity, including woodwork; oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings; silver and beaded jewelry; glass, fiber, and gourd art; mixed media; photography; and pottery. Eldorado Studio Tour

September 24 & 25

In its 30 years, the Eldorado Studio Tour has grown from 25 artists in 1992 to an amazing 82 artists showing in 62 studios. Visit the Preview Gallery, featuring one or more works from every artist, beginning Friday evening and throughout the weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Eldorado Community Center (1 Hacienda Loop). Items in the gallery are for sale, and you can pick up a catalog that includes a map and description of each artist’s work.

Abiquiú Studio Tour

October 8–10

Discover the world of Abiquiú artists as they open their studios to old and new friends during one of the most beautiful times of the year in northern New Mexico—fall. The self-guided driving Abiquiú Studio Tour takes visitors and collectors through the village of Abiquiú and the surrounding Chama River Valley, showcasing a landscape of imposing mountains, spectacular rock formations, and the glorious rivers of the Piedra Lumbre Basin.

Santa Fe Studio Tour

October 8 & 9, 15 & 16

The Santa Fe Studio Tour offers a unique and exciting opportunity to visit more than 80 of Santa Fe’s best artists in their studios. Interact with artists to discuss their technique and motivation. Buy beautiful art directly from the artist. Studios are open for two consecutive weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come to the opening reception on Friday, October 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Santa Fe Woman’s Club (1616 Old Pecos Trail) to browse the artwork and plan your tour.

October 15 & 16

For over 30 years, Galisteo has offered a unique New Mexico studio tour experience. Take the easy half-hour drive from Santa Fe to the historic village in the magnificent Galisteo Basin and leave time behind. Diverse artists, drawn here by the natural beauty of a high desert landscape, breathtaking sunsets, and enchanted light, open their studios to you for the Galisteo Studio Tour. Enjoy walking from studio to studio throughout the village as you experience the beautiful fall-colored cottonwood trees in the bosque. A short drive up the hill, visit studios in Ranchitos as you delight in panoramic views of the Galisteo Basin.
