Looking for New Year's Eve plans? Check out the list of things to do here!

1 Dance into 2025.

A born-and-raised New Mexican, La Emi has been dancing flamenco since her childhood,  bringing both a deep passion and decades of technique to the stage. She’s rounding out the year with a series of performances at the Inn & Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe from December 26–31 with guest flamenco artist Vicente Griego and his band ReVóZo. Choreographed in collaboration with artists from Madrid and Granada, Spain, the show includes a new solo from La Emi and a blend of traditional and innovative styles. Shows start at 7:30 p.m., and the New Year’s Eve performance includes a celebratory champagne toast.

2 Have a classical experience.

Santa Fe Pro Musica’s Bach Festival continues this weekend with a free family concert at the St. Francis Auditorium at the New Mexico Museum of Art on Friday at 10 a.m. It includes educational components, like short explanations between pieces, helping the audience gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the music. On Saturday and Sunday, the Bach and Beyond program takes the stage in two parts. Both concerts feature selections from Bach concertos.

Join Silver City Improv for a hilarious holiday show filled with zany antics, including a chaotic family meal, a tipsy Santa, and unpredictable reindeer. Photograph courtesy of Silver City Improv.

Take your (laughter) medicine.

Laughing is said to have health benefits. So, meet your health goals with the help of Silver City Improv during its holiday show. A loose plot including a zany holiday family meal, drunk Santa, and reindeer causing chaos in the front yard, the show is for adults as it may contain bad behavior and foul language. Look forward to singing, dancing, and a heap of in-the-moment brilliance from the cohort of improv actors. See it Thursday and Friday evening at the Starlight Theater.
