Geek out at the 17th annual ScienceFest in Los Alamos with five days of electric concerts, family bonding, and out-of-this-world adult activities July 12–16. The festivities kick off with a new Night Market featuring vendors selling arts, crafts, and food during the Summer Concert Series at Ashley Park Pond. On Saturday, Discovery Day brings hands-on STEM demonstrations, drone flights, robot battles, solar car races, an electric vehicle show, and live music from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Later in the day, adults can experiment with a community crawl of fun activities such as color theory painting at Bathtub Row Brewery co-op, tabletop math games at Boese Brothers Brewing, and more during Discovery After Dark. The Pajarito Astronomers Club close out the evening with a Dark Night Sky Party. The fun continues at the Tuesdays at the Square Closing Party, as Heather and the Bad Breaks get your dancing feet moving and STEAM activities keep your synapses firing at Central Park Square Lawn.
