The options are endless—create a Spotify playlist, deejay a set, meet new faces, grab a pair of wireless headphones and zone out in the listening booth, or simply enjoy what’s on the speakers with a spiced chai in hand on a bar lined with records. Remix Audio Bar (RMXAB), on Santa Fe’s Marcy Street, promises a tailored sensory experience and multiple ways to plug in. Co-creators Justin Ray, aka 13 Pieces, and his wife, Julie Grace, say RMXAB, which opened in December, is mostly about sharing good musical vibes. “It’s a hub where all creative acts can come together and remix,” says Grace. She and 13 Pieces believe that, with later hours and remix parties on weekends, the audio bar can “pump up the party without drinking.”
