• ½ cup filtered water
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken up  
  • 1 nutmeg seed, broken up  

Makes ½ cup

1. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently. Once the syrup begins to simmer, remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.

2. Strain out the spices, let the syrup cool to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
